We are delighted to share that, following another successful year of International Dimension learning, King’s Academy Rowner has now been awarded the Intermediate Level International School Award from the British Council.

The award recognises our commitment to developing global citizens through meaningful international learning experiences and our growing partnership with our partner school in the Czech Republic. Throughout the year, pupils have broadened their global awareness through projects such as our Mini Winter Olympics and Global Stage Forum work, developing important 21st-century skills including communication, collaboration and cultural understanding.

The assessors praised the way our pupils engage with international learning, our use of real-time digital communication with peers overseas and the impact our work has had across the wider school community. They also recognised how these experiences help children develop confidence, resilience and curiosity about the wider world.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils, staff and International Ambassadors for their enthusiasm and commitment. This achievement marks another exciting milestone in our international journey as we now look ahead to working towards the next award and continuing to provide opportunities that prepare our children for ‘opportunity and success on a global stage’.
