Today, National Thank a Teacher Day, has been a moment for the whole country to stop, reflect, and say thank you to the educators who have made a difference in our lives. At King’s Academy Rowner, we would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank every member of our staff team. From our class teachers and teaching assistants to our office staff, site team, lunchtime team and wider support staff, each person plays an important role in helping our children learn, grow and succeed.
Every single day, in classrooms, corridors, playgrounds and staff rooms, our team goes above and beyond to support the children in our care. They spark curiosity, build confidence, nurture talents, provide encouragement when things are difficult and celebrate achievements, both big and small. Their commitment, kindness and dedication help to create the warm, caring and ambitious school community that we are so proud of.
Our staff work behind the scenes too – planning lessons, preparing resources, supporting families, attending training, organising opportunities. They do all they can to help every child achieve their very best.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the parents and carers who have already taken the time to send messages of appreciation to our staff. These kind words and thoughtful gestures mean so much and are appreciated by our team. If you would like to say thank you to a member of staff who has made a difference to your child, you can send a free National Thank a Teacher Day e-card via the National Thank a Teacher Day website: https://thankateacher.co.uk
To all of our wonderful staff at KARo and colleagues in KGA – thank you for your dedication, your care, your enthusiasm and your unwavering commitment to our children. You make a difference every single day.
