What a wonderful success our annual Sports Morning was this year! We had been carefully keeping an eye on the weather forecast, and although it was a warm day, the cooler morning temperatures and the lovely sea breeze helped ensure that children could fully enjoy taking part in a fantastic range of sporting activities.

From running races and shot put to javelin, water runs, sack races, penalty shoot-outs, netball goals and many more events, the children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and great team spirit. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, encouragement between friends and a real sense of pride as children represented their teams.

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to watch, support and cheer the children on. Your encouragement helped make the morning such a special occasion. Thank you also to everyone for helping us keep children safe and well by staying hydrated and making great use of the drinks trolley throughout the day. This was especially important in the warmer weather.

Well done to all of our children for their fantastic effort, determination and sportsmanship. Another brilliant Sports Morning to remember!
