This half term, Year 5 have been exploring the concept of faith, focusing on why faith in Jesus’ messages is so important to Christians. In their final lesson of the unit, the children engaged in group role play, acting out a scenario between a surgeon and a patient. First, they portrayed a situation where the patient had no faith in the surgeon, and then one where the patient did have faith in the surgeon. This activity sparked a deep discussion about our learning question: What is faith? The children shared some truly thoughtful and insightful ideas, demonstrating their growing understanding of this important concept.
