Year 3 recently became published authors in their English lessons, creating their own River Stories complete with beautiful illustrations and carefully crafted writing. Today, they had the exciting opportunity to share their finished books with Year 6 pupils. The older children thoroughly enjoyed reading the stories and were particularly impressed by the ambitious vocabulary, accurate punctuation and creativity on display. As they worked together, pupils also recognised and celebrated one another for demonstrating our Gosport Futures, highlighting positive attitudes such as confidence, communication and respect. It was wonderful to see children from different year groups learning together, sharing their achievements and encouraging one another. Well done to Year 3 for producing such fantastic work and for presenting it so proudly to their Year 6 audience!
