Our latest King’s Academy Rowner newsletter is now available, and we encourage all parents and carers to take a few minutes to read it in full. It was e mailed home on Monday. It includes important information, upcoming events and some wonderful updates from across the school community. You can read it here.

Here are a few highlights:

⭐ Dance Live Success
Our Dance Live team represented the school brilliantly at their heat at Portsmouth Guildhall, finishing second place. They will now perform in the Dance Live Finals on 23rd April, and we are incredibly proud of their achievement.

🎂 Fundraising and Community Events
There are several exciting events planned to support school activities, including a non-uniform day and cake sale, the Friends of Rowner gift shop, and the popular chocolate raffle later this term.

🗣 Pupil Voice and Safeguarding
Our recent pupil survey showed very positive feedback.

• 84% of pupils say they feel safe in school
• 94% know who to talk to if they are upset
• 95% feel they are taught how to stay safe online
  This reflects the strong safeguarding culture across the school.

📅 Key Dates and End of Term
The newsletter also includes important dates for March and April, including sports fixtures, visits, rehearsals and a 2pm finish on the last day of term, Friday 27th March.
