Year 4 were creative in their recent art lesson, designing and making their own geometric stamps. The classroom was buzzing with ideas as pupils explored shapes, patterns and repetition to create bold, eye-catching designs.
The children carefully planned their stamp patterns using a range of geometric shapes, thinking thoughtfully about how different lines and forms could work together. Once their designs were complete, they transferred them onto stamping materials and tested them using paint, experimenting with colour and layout.
This hands-on lesson supported the development of design, printing and fine motor skills, while also encouraging creativity and problem-solving. The results were fantastic, with each stamp reflecting the individuality and imagination of its creator.
A brilliant art session full of creativity, concentration and colourful results — well done, Year 4!
