Thank you to everyone who has been supporting our plastic sweet and chocolate tub collection. All of the tubs we collect in school are recycled, with the proceeds donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Last year alone, this scheme raised over £34,000 nationally, preventing an incredible 27,990kg of plastic from going into landfill. Instead, the tubs are shredded into plastic granules and transformed into new products such as plastic bottles, fleece tops and even outdoor benches.

We are very grateful to our families for bringing tubs into school and helping us make a real difference, both environmentally and for such an important charity. And, with thanks to Mrs Whiting for delivering all the tubs for us,
