Our JRSOs did a fantastic job leading yesterday’s assembly on how to stay safe when travelling actively. They spoke confidently in front of the whole school about the importance of being bright and being seen, especially at this time of year. They also ran an interactive Bright or Dark game, where pupils decided whether different outfits were suitable for staying visible.
Tomorrow, Friday (28th) is our Be Bright, Be Seen non-uniform day at KA Rowner. All pupils and staff are invited to come to school dressed as brightly as possible. This could include colourful clothing, reflective accessories, or any other creative way to make yourself stand out. It’s your time to shine!
As part of the day, we will also be holding a Bling Your Ride competition, open to all children. Decorate your bike, scooter, or even your bag (if you’re walking) at home, then ride, wheel, or walk it to school on Friday. You can use ribbons, coloured card, stickers, or anything else bright and eye-catching. Please let your creativity shine. The theme is Be Bright, Be Seen, and we can’t wait to admire your brilliant designs. Bike it John, along with our JRSOs
We are looking forward to seeing your colourful outfits and all the amazing Bling Your Ride entries!
