This week, our Year 6 pupils successfully completed their Bikeability course. This was a fantastic achievement. For some children, this was the exciting moment they learnt how to ride a bike for the very first time. Others developed their confidence and road skills, learning how to cycle safely and responsibly on the road.

Through practical sessions, pupils mastered important techniques such as turning in and out of major roads, understanding road signs, signalling clearly, and maintaining the correct positioning when cycling.

We are very proud of how resilient and focused the children were throughout the training. These vital life skills will help them to travel safely and independently and to enjoy cycling for many years to come.
