For COJOEs this term, Year 6 have been learning about the explorer Ibn Battuta who was known for travelling approximately 75,000 km over 30 years on foot or with a camel across Africa and Asia. For this week’s mission ‘the mind is everything, what you think you become’, Year 6 had to use their problem solving skills to find hidden scrolls and then decode the different phrases written in a Chinese script. Some of the phrases included ‘smile everyday’ and ‘SATs help you but do not define you’. The children worked hard showing their teamwork skills to work successfully!
