Over the last few weeks, our LEGO Club members have been busy perfecting their LEGO builds and developing their coding skills. The children have shown fantastic creativity, teamwork and problem-solving throughout the project.

One group created a moving bike model which uses coding to track the force needed as it travels uphill. The children were then able to display this information on a line graph, linking their coding and engineering skills with maths and data handling.

Another group designed an amazing “Weather Man” model. Using internet-connected coding, the build can detect weather conditions from locations around the world! The umbrella rises if the weather is cloudy, rainy or snowy, while the sunglasses come off when there is sunshine.

We are incredibly proud of our super builders and coders for their enthusiasm, resilience and innovative thinking. Well done, LEGO Club!
