Year 5 have been busy creating some mixed media artwork linked to the important theme of protecting our oceans and marine wildlife. Using a range of materials, textures and artistic techniques, the children designed thoughtful pieces inspired by the beauty of the sea and the growing need to care for our planet. Their artwork highlighted issues such as plastic pollution, endangered sea creatures and the importance of keeping our oceans clean for future generations. The children showed great creativity, imagination and teamwork throughout the project, carefully combining paint, collage and other materials to produce striking final outcomes. We were incredibly impressed by both their artistic skills and the powerful messages behind their work. Well done, Year 5 — your artwork really made us stop and think about how we can all help to protect our oceans.
