Our children in Year 5 have been developing their understanding of shape in maths, with a particular focus on 3D shapes this week. Using hands-on resources, they worked collaboratively in small groups to explore key properties such as edges, vertices and faces. It was fantastic to see them actively engaged, asking thoughtful questions, testing ideas and drawing meaningful conclusions from their learning. A great example of learning in action.
