Our playground has been full of energy this week as pupils have been enjoying football sessions at lunchtime, led by Mr Hill and Mr Baldwin. The excitement has been taken to another level as we’ve been getting involved in School’s Football Week, a fantastic national initiative created by The FA in partnership with Pokémon.
The challenge encourages children to get active, develop their skills and importantly have fun! Across the week, pupils have been taking part in a range of football activities, building confidence, teamwork and resilience along the way. From quick-fire matches to skill-based challenges, there has been something for everyone to enjoy.
School’s Football Week is all about inspiring children to play, belong and achieve through football and we have certainly seen that in action at lunchtimes. Well done to all the children who have taken part with such enthusiasm.
