Commander Joes (CoJoes) develops character traits like resilience, empathy, and teamwork in our children. Year 4 had an amazing time developing these skills during their exciting CoJoes mission, inspired by the early encounters between English explorers and Native Americans in Virginia. Not all Native Americans welcomed the arrival of the English explorers. The leader of the English, Sir John Smith, found himself captured by the tribe and held in a cage within their territory (marked by a hula hoop!). With tensions high, it was up to the English explorers to work together and attempt a daring rescue.

The mission encouraged teamwork, strategy, and plenty of running around outdoors. Most importantly, everyone worked as a team, enjoyed the fresh air and fully immersed themselves in the challenge.
A brilliant afternoon of learning, teamwork, and sunshine for Year 4!
