Recently, Year 5 enjoyed a hands-on healthy eating workshop with Chartwells, where they made colourful rainbow wraps while learning about the importance of a balanced diet. It was a fun and practical way to explore healthy food choices and nutrition. We were particularly proud of the children for trying new foods, including beetroot, showing a willingness to broaden their tastes. Trying a variety of foods helps children develop healthy eating habits, discover new flavours and ensure they get a wide range of nutrients.
