What a brilliant afternoon of football we enjoyed yesterday as we proudly hosted the match at King’s Academy Rowner! In glorious sunshine, our team showed great determination, resilience and teamwork throughout. Despite the final score not going our way, the boys never gave up, supporting one another on and off the pitch and demonstrating real character from start to finish.
It was a pleasure to see such strong teamwork and commitment, alongside excellent sportsmanship. The players represented the school brilliantly, showing respect to their opponents and the officials throughout the game. Thank you also to all of the parents and carers who support the team, whether by cheering from the sidelines or helping with transport.
Our thanks also go to Mr Hill for refereeing and helping the game run so smoothly. And our thanks to KA Gomer for joining us.
Finally, Mrs Mulhall remained admirably neutral throughout and was incredibly proud of both teams, particularly the respect and sportsmanship shown by all players.
Well done to everyone involved. A great example of teamwork, effort and character.
