We are incredibly proud of all our children who took part in Sunday’s Remembrance gatherings in and around Gosport. It was moving to see so many of our pupils on parade at the War Memorial, representing KA Rowner and honouring those who sacrificed so much. A special commendation goes to Luke and Florence, who were superb Rowner ambassadors and well supported by Mrs Whiting. Their presentation of the KA Rowner wreath on behalf of our school was dignified, reflecting the respect and reverence we all feel on this important occasion. We were pleased to join our KGA Hampshire family schools too: Bay House, Brune Park and Gomer (pictured with us here). Today, we were delighted to see many of our children attend school in Cadet, Scout, Brownie or Guide uniform as an additional mark of respect. We were equally grateful to welcome some of our service parents and their extended families who joined us for a sombre and poignant remembrance gathering. In Gosport, a town with such a proud military heritage, we feel a deep connection to our serving community. We will remember, with gratitude and respect, all those who have served and continue to serve.

Lest we forget.
