As part of their science learning about animals and their habitats, Year 5 received a very special delivery last week in the form of 10 eggs from Living Eggs! The classroom was buzzing with excitement as the children eagerly awaited the arrival of their new feathered friends.

Just two days after the eggs arrived, the hatching began! We were thrilled to welcome 10 adorable chicks including 6 girls and 4 boys. It has been a lovely experience watching them emerge and grow, and both children and staff have been captivated by their progress.

On Friday, the excitement reached new heights when the children had the chance to gently hold the chicks. It was a heartwarming moment for everyone involved, bringing their science learning to life in the most joyful way.
