What a night! Last evening, our phenomenal Dance Live team took to the stage at the Guildhall for the 2025 Dance Live finals – and what a performance it was! Although we didn’t place, the children danced superbly, looked absolutely awesome, and most importantly, did themselves and King’s Academy Rowner incredibly proud.

To make it to the finals is, in itself, a massive achievement and a reflection of the dedication, creativity, and teamwork that has gone into every single rehearsal and performance. The energy, commitment and confidence our pupils have been evidenced throughout their Dance Live journey.

We’ve received so many kind words from parents, including this heartfelt reflection:
“Firstly, what an amazing show last night – we are all so very proud. They have all worked so hard and did amazingly. Thank you so much to all the staff for giving the children the opportunity to take part in Dance Live. The confidence they have shown in their performances is incredible. It makes me sad to know we won’t be attending another Dance Live with King’s Academy Rowner again. In my eyes, they are the winners and always will be.”

Moments like these highlight the power of the arts and the impact they have on young people. This success has only been possible because of the enormous team effort behind the scenes. A huge thank you goes to the parents and carers for their ongoing support, and to our incredible staff, who give up so much of their time, energy and passion to make this opportunity possible for our children. A particularly big shout out to Mrs Knoll and Miss Tuckley.
