On Wednesday, Year 5 had a wonderful learning time participating in the RSPB Big School Birdwatch. Armed with their spotting sheets, they explored our wonderful school grounds, identifying a variety of birds. Working collaboratively, the children shared their knowledge and keen observation skills. Among the species they spotted were woodpigeons, blackbirds, crows, and magpies. We have now submitted our findings to the RSPB for analysis, contributing to this important citizen science project. Well done, Year 5, for your enthusiasm and teamwork!
