There has been huge excitement in school today after the arrival of a large wooden crate, carefully delivered onto the site and promptly sparking curiosity, whispers and wide-eyed wonder.
The crate looks remarkably like the front cover of the children’s book Zoo – sturdy wooden panels, bold lettering and a definite sense that something extraordinary might be inside. Naturally, this has led to plenty of questions from pupils:
- What could it be?
- Why has it arrived now?
- Is something being built?
- Are we allowed to open it?!
Teachers and staff are doing an excellent job of keeping a straight face, while pupils have been busy sharing theories, predictions and imaginative ideas. Whatever this mysterious crate is for, one thing is certain: it’s part of an exciting project that is beginning to take shape and bring something special to our school environment.
We won’t spoil the surprise just yet… but watch this space
All will be revealed very soon!
