This morning, a beautiful rainbow appeared and perfectly framed King’s Academy Rowner. It was a lovely moment of brightness during a rather grey week and a timely reminder to keep looking up, even when the days feel darker.
The darker, wetter months can sometimes affect our mood, but as always, life at KA Rowner carries on with smiles, fresh air and children enjoying being outside whenever they can. Seeing a rainbow arching over our school felt like a symbol of optimism, togetherness and brighter moments ahead.
Did you know?
Rainbows form when sunlight is refracted, reflected and dispersed through water droplets in the air, which is why they often appear just as rain begins to clear. Each rainbow is unique and always appears opposite the sun.
As we move through the darker months, moments like this remind us how important it is to get outside, notice the small wonders around us, and keep finding the colour even on the greyest days.
With thanks to Mrs Held for capturing this beautiful photograph.
