We are aware that choosing the right school for your child is an important one. We encourage parents/carers to view our school prior to applying for a place for your child.

Seeking a school place now? Please call us on Tel: 023 92524312 speak to Mrs Diplock or Mrs Parker to arrange a time for you to talk to a member of the leadership team. We are more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have. For any in-year applications, KGA Hampshire Admissions will process these directly making use of the HCC Fair Access protocols as per The School Admissions Code.

Key dates for applying for a Year 3 place for 2025:

  • Thursday 24 October: open morning (9am) and open afternoon (2.20pm) in the school hall
  • Thursday 21 November: in the event you can not meet with us on Thursday 24 October, we have made available a tour of the school at 4.15-4.45pm
  • Friday 1 November 2024: application process for Year 3 junior school places opens
  • Wednesday 20 November 2024: in the event you can not meet with us on Wednesday 23 October for the Open Morning or Open Afternoon, we have made available a tour of the school at 4.15-4.45pm.
  • Wednesday 15 January 2025: Applications are due by parents
  • Wednesday 16 April 2025: Parents/carers will be notified of school places
  • Thursday 29 April 2025: Parents/carers will be notified of late-allocated school places
  • June-July 2025: School appeals will be held

We will schedule a ‘Welcome and Information Sharing Meeting’ scheduled, for successful Year 3 applications, in June 2025. We plan to send home information regarding the transition, via e mail, before the 2025 May half-term.
