Earlier in the week, Year 5 enjoyed an exciting, hands-on science lesson exploring the relationship between force and mass. Working in groups, the children used force meters to measure how many newtons were needed to lift or pull different objects.
As they tested a range of items, they recorded their results carefully and began to spot patterns. They discovered that heavier objects required more force, helping them to understand the direct link between mass and force.
The class had great fun comparing their findings, making predictions, and using scientific equipment with real confidence. They behaved like young physicists in action.
