There is some exciting news from our school grounds at King’s Academy Rowner – the blue tits have returned! Our feathered visitors have been very busy recently and we have already seen lots of nest building activity in the bird box. While there are no eggs just yet, it is wonderful to see them preparing their nest for the season ahead. This is always a special time for our school community. Watching the blue tits gives pupils a real connection to nature and provides a fantastic opportunity to learn about wildlife, habitats and the changing seasons. We will be keeping a close eye on developments over the coming weeks and will share updates as the nest progresses.
Watch this space… we are hoping for eggs soon!
