We are so proud of our KA Rowner Service Club, who have been busy creating beautiful handmade poppies that will be displayed at HMS Sultan as part of their Remembrance commemorations.
The poppy is a powerful symbol of remembrance and hope, representing those who have served and sacrificed in conflicts past and present. It reminds us to honour their courage and commitment, and to be thankful for the peace and freedoms we enjoy today.
This act of remembrance holds special meaning within our school community, where many of our children come from service families. It’s a time for us to reflect together, to show our respect, and to recognise the strength, resilience, and pride that service life brings.
We are incredibly proud of the Service Club for their thoughtful work and contribution and their poppies will stand proudly as a sign of remembrance, gratitude, and unity.
