This week, Year 4 have been focusing on the skill of teamwork during their COJOES learning.

‘Build people up and you will always have a fortress around you.

During this challenge, the army of slaves had finally escaped the harsh conditions of the gladiator school and found safety on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. But their freedom was short-lived. The Roman army was hot on their trail! Working in teams, the children were tasked with constructing a stronghold capable of withstanding an incoming invasion. Their fortress needed to be both defensive and strategic, allowing them to protect themselves while planning a counterattack from a safe distance.

We were impressed by the children’s creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Their imaginative designs and teamwork truly embodied the spirit of the mission.

Well done, Year 4!
