It’s already time to start thinking about Year 7 in September 2026. If your child is currently in Year 6, applications to transfer to secondary school are now open and information has been e mailed home to you.

📅 Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 31 October 2025.

You can apply online, or you can ask for a paper form by emailing: admissions.team@hants.gov.uk.

Helpful tips for families applying:

• ✅ Name three schools on your application to give yourself the best chance of getting a place you’re happy with.
• ✅ Apply on time – don’t miss the 31 October deadline.
• ✅ Check your catchment school using the Hampshire County Council’s catchment finder tool.
• ✅ Read the school’s admissions policy to see how places are decided if the school is popular.
• ✅ Plan the journey – think about how your child will travel to and from school. If you need help with transport, remember you must include your catchment school as one of your choices.
