Year 5 had a fantastic time on Friday during their geography field trip to Stokes Bay. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to apply their classroom learning in a real-world setting.

While exploring the coastline, pupils created detailed sketches of the landscape, completed a Litter Survey and enthusiastically took part in Biome Bingo, using their knowledge to identify a variety of living things that thrive in the coastal habitat. Highlights of the day included spotting a crab, discovering the remains of a cuttlefish and seeing the Red Arrows fly overhead; much to the children’s excitement!

Alongside their learning, the children also enjoyed some well-earned fun in the beautiful sunshine. They represented the school fantastically and were excellent ambassadors throughout the day.
