Our first after-school Rounders Club kicked off with a fantastic twist and what a brilliant session it was.Instead of the usual match, we mixed things up with three teams battling it out in a friendly but competitive format. Each team had the chance to bat while the other two fielded, and points were awarded not just for hitting rounders:

• 1 point for a half rounder
• 2 points for a full rounder
• Bonus points for fielding achievements – such as catching the ball or helping to run a player out!

The competition was fierce and the results were close – with the Blue Team taking the win on 12 points, while the other two teams finished just behind on 9 points each.

It was wonderful to see great teamwork, encouragement, and sportsmanship throughout. Plus, the sunshine made it all the more enjoyable! We can’t wait for next week’s session; same energy, more rounders fun!
