In their latest Design and Technology unit, Year 5 pupils embraced their creativity by designing and making their very own ‘plushies’. They thoughtfully planned their designs, carefully considering the features and details they wanted to include.

As part of the process, they learned a brand-new sewing technique — the blanket stitch. Despite the challenge, they demonstrated impressive resilience, supporting one another along the way. The final results were fantastic, and the children were rightly proud of their hard work and creativity!
