Over the past six weeks, Year 6 have been hard at work, combining creativity and craftsmanship to design and make their own pirate-inspired waistcoats. The journey began with exploring different waistcoat designs, analysing existing styles, and identifying features they loved. This inspired their own unique creations, tailored with a pirate twist. With their designs in hand, the children embarked on the exciting challenge of sewing their waistcoats. Over several lessons, they demonstrated resilience and determination, perfecting their masterpieces stitch by stitch. To celebrate their hard work, Year 6 proudly showcased their creations in a fantastic fashion show! Walking confidently down the runway to the dramatic sounds of The Flying Dutchman, they received cheers and applause from an enthusiastic audience. Well done, Year 6, for your incredible effort and creativity—you should be so proud of your achievements!
