We’re off to a fantastic start this week as we take part in the Leg it to Lapland challenge once again! This exciting competition encourages sustainable and active travel, and we’re thrilled to be joining five other schools across Hampshire in the race to virtually cover the 1,385-mile distance to Lapland.

Recently, Bike It John visited our school to launch the challenge, inspiring everyone with the details of this exciting initiative. Every active journey to and from school counts as one mile travelled, and we’re aiming to defend our title after being one of the winning schools last year. The prize? A spectacular stunt scooter display for our school! To succeed, we need everyone’s support. Encourage your child to choose active travel options, such as:

  • Walking
  • Wheeling
  • Scooting
  • Skating
  • Cycling
  • Park and Stride
  • Scoot from the Boot

Let’s work together to rack up the miles, stay active, and aim for victory once again. Every journey counts—can we hold onto our crown? Let’s make it happen!
