This term, Year 5 have been diving into the fascinating history of the Royal Navy during their project lessons. Recently, they created a digital quiz inspired by their research on Samuel Pepys, drawing on his diary entries and other online sources. Using Google Forms, the children crafted a range of questions about Samuel Pepys and his remarkable life. They even added images and set up point-scoring systems to make the quizzes engaging and interactive. Some of the questions they included were:
- What was Samuel Pepys’ role in the navy?
- How did Samuel Pepys reform the navy?
- What is he famous for?
- When was he alive?
- When did he die?
At the end of the lesson, a few children had the opportunity to test their quizzes on their classmates. Amazing effort, Year 5!
