The rain impacted our Field Gun activity at Service Club this week. So, the children took cover indoors and enjoyed teamwork activities using the parachute. The first task was to roll the ball around the parachute without it stopping or falling off. The children had to tap into a lot of their Gosport Future Skills e.g. listening and teamwork. This was very tricky at first, but after adopting a positive mindset, we achieved it! The children also moved on to working as a team to move a small ball to the hole in the middle into a tub. The ping pong ball was much easier! The children spoke about how important teamwork is – not just in Field Gun, but in many aspects of life too.
