Awesome! Due to our creative approach to our school curriculum and our superb Personal Development Subject Leadership by Miss Dymond and Mrs Fry (Gomer Junior School) we were finalists in two categories at the 2023 Education Today Awards. The awards were hosted in London on Friday. Although we did not win the overall trophy for either category, to be celebrated in a national forum is an awesome achievement. Mrs Mulhall (who attended due to Miss Dymond being unwell) said, ‘The school and GFM are incredibly proud of all we achieve and are delighted that our Creative Curriculum and PD Leaders have been recognised in this way. Their development of the subject and helping to achieve character ‘kitemarks’ for the school enable Rowner learners to have a sound and engaging curriculum. I’m feeling very, very proud…!’
