Yesterday, we had the exciting opportunity to start UK Parliament Week with a visit from our local MP – Dame Caroline Dinenage. Caroline spoke to the whole school about her role and what it entails in addition to taking time to answer carefully thought-through questions provided by our Pupil Voice Team. After her assembly, Year 5 had the opportunity to attend a workshop with her which focussed closely on what happens in parliament and the roles within it.
