Yesterday, despite the cold weather, Team Rowner participated in an inter-school Fieldgun competition. The furthest traveling team came from Plymouth. The children showed huge resilience and team spirit. And the significant support from our parents/carers was wonderful and very much appreciated. The children came third in all the trophy categories and were the only school with no penalty points – this was due to the children being cautious and considered on all of the runs. The team was very proud to have knocked off just under 3 minutes off their personal best. Simply awesome. A huge WELL DONE to the team and a BIG THANK YOU to Mr and Mrs Conor for volunteering their time to make this event possible for the children.
