Rowner Junior held their Christingle Service, on Monday, at the Rowner church St Mary the Virgin. The service was led by the Rev. Jude and Claire. The children sang superbly and were wonderfully behaved. Mrs Mulhall gave a talk that was linked to the ‘light’ in our community and linked to our learning about kindness and not being scared. The children also talked about what they are looking forward to this Christmas. Four of our children read a prayer and our homemade Christingles looked beautiful when lit – the most special part of the service. With thanks to the Spar on Rowner Road for providing the oranges for our Christingles. This was such a lovely event which has become an annual opportunity for all our Year 4 learners.
