We love it when former Rowner pupils come to visit us and love it even more when they apply to complete a week of work experience. We were delighted that Sophie and Ellie, former GFM primary learners and now GFM secondary learners, joined us last week to work across the school.

Sophie loved being around the children and understanding how every day works in a school. She really enjoyed the English lessons and working with small groups of children whilst they learn. She also said all the children had positive attitudes toward their learning and each other which was lovely to see.

Ellie said she has felt really welcomed working at Rowner this week. She has felt happy the children feel comfortable talking to her when they need help. She enjoyed the music lessons the most.
