After much excitement harvesting some of the enormous Hive garden offerings, Mrs Mulhall was delighted to share a giant squash in her assembly today – formally known as a ‘tromboncino’ and fondly named Tracy by the children! We had originally thought the vegetable was a marrow or giant courgette. So, were delighted to learn its proper name. Lorraine, our school cook, is going to cook some of the squash next week.
