Wow – we had an awesome afternoon. Our local ice-rink, Planet Ice, presented a fun filled and contemporary version of the Wizard of Oz which was adapted by the ‘Show & Skate’ class of amateur skaters and supported by their professional on tour cast. This was an ultimate classic which was enjoyed by all the children at Rowner and Gomer Junior School. With thanks to the PTA for contributing monies towards the visit and to Huhtamaki for their generous prize money. We were delighted to be able to pay for every child to attend. Such a visit is a huge undertaking so Team Rowner were delighted to receive so many ‘thank yous’ from parents and carers. Wonderful memories were made.
