Year 5 took part in an exciting COJOs mission this week.
Mission brief: Following a welcome morale boost from friends and family after the airdrop, the explorers have managed to cover a further hundred miles on your mission. You have now reached the Mailham Fjord. With night-time descending and temperatures rapidly declining, teams must build a shelter – in this climate, there is only one structure that will help ensure survival…..an igloo!
Active duty: The explorers only have access to lumps of hard snow, softer snow and a sheet of ice to build their igloo. Hurry, time is running out!
The children showed great teamwork and problem-solving skills in this mission. Well done year 5!
