Year 5 have really enjoyed watching the magical process of metamorphosis in the classroom. The painted lady butterflies hatched last week from their chrysalids. The children looked after them for a few days, fed them fruit and sugar water and observed them. Yesterday, they released them to our near our bee-friendly garden. We waved them off and hope to see them around our school grounds!
