At the end of half-term, Year 3 came to the end of their RE learning journey where they had been learning about trees as a symbol. Over the weeks, the children have discussed what trees symbolise to us; sharing ideas such as hope, dreams, mindfulness and life. To mark the end of our unit, we all created our own symbols to represent ‘us’ as ‘people’, filled with words that demonstrate our unique personalities and things that are important to us. We then hung our symbols in the trees around our beautiful school grounds!
