On Monday, HCC notified Y2 families by e-mail of school places for September 2023 and by post on Tuesday. Team Rowner is really looking forward to getting to know our new families and are delighted that there are familiar faces in the cohort too. We are aware that transition can be a daunting experience for any child, regardless of age, so we work hard to ensure that the experience is as smooth as possible. This year, our Admissions process will all be online. Ahead of sharing information about our online ‘portal’ we will send a letter to each Y2 family (in bookbags if at Rowner Infant School and by post if attending another infant school). We endeavor to be in touch with our families by the end of the month, highlighting how we will support your child with their transition to Rowner Junior School and to provide you with necessary and relevant information.
