Year 5 have been ‘aiming high’ in their project learning. In their most recent lesson they researched the explorer Robert Falcon Scott. Half the class found out positive points linked to his exploration and the other half researched the negative points in order to answer the learning question- should Robert Falcon Scott be praised or criticised for his exploration? They then took part in a conscience alley activity where ‘Robert Scott’ walked through the alley while the children from both points of view whispered their arguments to him.
