We were delighted that the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood, joined us today on the playground, to share some festive cheer. The band played 5 carols and Christmas songs which the children thoroughly enjoyed joining-in with. In fact, they sang superbly following lots of singing practice in school. Mr Smith leaves us tomorrow to pursue a career in law. As a treat, he conducted the band and did a super job! With thanks to the band who left us to join one of our GFM family schools – Gomer Junior.
